The OmiStrip 9450 automatic cut & strip machine precisely processes wires and cables with cross-sections up to 16 mm˛ (AWG 6) and diameters up to 11 mm (0.43"). Its wide application range and the outstanding price/performance ratio make the OmniStrip 9450 an ideal solution for medium to low volume wire processing demands.
With simultaneously running processes, short cycle times and fast change-overs between jobs, the belt-driven OmniStrip 9450 ensures a high output rate. Multiple processing tasks can be carried out in a single step thanks to the high dynamic Schleuniger indexing cutter head and userfriendly programming.
Programming Made Easy
The intuitive programming can be done either in simple mode or library mode. A clearly laid out display shows all important information. Libraries for raw materials and processing parameters have been integrated allowing a new kind of easy and time saving programming: For a cable, simply choose a raw material and a processing. The various processing steps are automatically determined by pre-defined cable ends.
Processing parameters only have to be programmed once. When changing a parameter (e.g. incision depth) this is allocated to all cables using the same processing parameters - with one command only. Long text strings (e.g. inkjet text strings) can be entered comfortably via USB keyboard.
To make programming even easier, Cayman PC software can be used with OmniStrip 9450. This optional wire processing software allows the programming of the entire production line via your PC. Cayman offers time saving solutions to cable entries and gives you a big advantage in managing your wire lists.

As a standard, the OmniStrip 9450 features an integrated Pre-/ Post Feed Interface (PPI) allowing flexible control and monitoring of a wide range of peripherals and even complex customer specific devices. Cables can be marked simultaneously with inkjet and hotstamp. The inkjet protocols for select inkjet printer models (e.g. Metronic alphaJET C) are included in the scope of delivery.
Programming of the synchronization signals, control and monitoring of all devices can be done easily via panel of the OmniStrip 9450. The OmniStrip 9450 may be used as a stand-alone machine as well as an integral componant of a complete processing line.
